It doesn’t have to be this way – we can still save public schools by fighting these destructive programs and policies.
Hayley Stenger grew up in Arizona and attended public schools, eventually becoming a public and charter school teacher herself. After the Arizona State Legislature passed a universal voucher expansion in 2017, Hayley joined a group of moms organizing a new group to fight back, Save Our Schools Arizona. After their successful campaign blocking the universal voucher program, Hayley remained engaged supporting public schools in Arizona. In 2020, Hayley and her family moved to Northern Virginia, where they now reside.
