Youth Organizer

Alex Ames (she/her) is a sophomore at Georgia Tech studying public policy and radicalized violence in democracy spaces. She is co-founder and Communications Director of the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition, living and working on campus in Atlanta. Alex has organized with numerous democracy efforts in Georgia, from Senator Warnock\\\’s voter protection team to the #StudentsAgainstSonny campaign, and specializes in youth engagement. She has three younger siblings attending high school and two parents teaching science in Georgia\\\’s public schools.
